I won this book in a contest several months ago and have just now finished it, not because I didn't want to-I enjoyed this read immensely.,I just had so much going on and now I can say I did enjoy it as I certainly took my time reading it..LOL.

This is the 8th book in the Library Lover's series, so I now I want to read the other 7...!!
Excerpt: Lindsey Norris and her staff are gearing up for Briar Creek's annual Dinner in the Stacks fund-raiser. A night of dinner and dancing-the biggest fund-raiser of the year. The new library board president decides to make a scene.
Olive Boyl-the new president is out to make trouble. However, Lindsey just wants things to go smoothly.

WHAT I LIKED: The way Jenn builds up all the personalities in this particular book means this could be a standalone even though it is part of a series. Of course  I love the fact that it's about libraries-which is soon to be extinct!! I just LOVE the name Olive Boyl. (Are you kidding?) Let's have fun with this for a second-ok first off-Boyl-boil-as in an annoying disturbance in the skin-so that's fitting.Olive Boyl-Popeye's girlfriend-Olive Oyl anyone? Love the humor!! And then finally, there is just Olive Oil-as in greasy, hehe. Yep I can imagine Jenn getting a kick out of this name!! LOL.
Now to resume what else I liked? Easy to read, love the setting, and the actual murderer was not who I first thought!!
So that is always good.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE?- It just didn't engross me as I was hoping.  Over all though it is a good read.
