TOP TEN TUESDAY-TEN FREQUENTLY USED WORDS IN HISTORICAL ROMANCES

This weeks prompt is Ten Words freuquently used in YA novels,since I normally don't read YA, I chose a genre I do read alot of-HR!! (historical romance). SO here is my list of Ten Words used frequently in HR titles!!


1. Duke- very frequently used!!
I have several books with Duke in the title!!









2. Rake-A bad boy,playboyish type.



3.Highlander- Quite a few books with this word!!

4.LOVE-How could a romance not have Love in the title?



5.Scandal-Who doesn't love a good Scandal?


6.Wed or Wedding- Also popular!

  2. When I read your title, I immediately thought 'highlander'! And 'wed' made me laugh because I'm reading a contemporary romance called How to Marry a Cowboy. Hah!

  11. So I don't read historical romance at all really (historic books aren't really my thing) but even I've seen a lot of these words used in titles so it shows how frequently they are used!

  13. I'm not a HR fan, I like romance, but historicals make me itchy. And as soon as I see words like Duke and Scandal or Highlander on title, I don't need to see plot or cover to know is not for me. I never put two and two together till I saw your list. Loved it :)
